Rental Terms

The requirements regarding the minimum age and length of driver's license ownership vary depending on the vehicle group to be rented. The applicable requirements for each vehicle group are specified on the vehicle selection screen during the reservation process.

Before the rental, it is the renter's responsibility to check the age and driver's license requirements for the selected vehicle group and ensure that these requirements are met.

For vehicle rentals, the security deposit determined according to the make, model and group of the preferred vehicle is applied in addition to the rental fee. The deposit amount is charged to the renter's credit card or blocked through pre-authorization.

The applicable deposit amount may vary depending on the vehicle group, the renter's Findeks credit score and the financial risk assessment carried out on the rental date.

The credit card to be used for the rental and deposit transactions must be issued in the renter's name, enabled for online purchases and physically presentable. The card must bear the renter's first and last name, card number, expiration date and security code (CVV). In addition, the card must have at least 6 months remaining until its expiration date as of the vehicle delivery date.

Depending on the vehicle group, two separate credit cards may be requested. Credit cards belonging to third parties or not meeting the specified requirements will not be accepted.

After the vehicle is returned in full and without damage in accordance with the contract terms, the deposit refund or pre-authorization release process is initiated. The time required for the relevant amount to be reflected on the credit card may vary according to the bank's processing procedures.

Exception: No security deposit is collected when the Maximum Protection package explicitly offered as deposit-free is selected and confirmed in the reservation. A deposit-free package does not automatically waive the credit card requirement. Any alternative payment arrangement must be expressly confirmed by our team before booking.

The vehicles offered within the scope of the rental are insured in accordance with the coverage specified in the relevant legislation and insurance policies. Insurance coverage, coverage limits and applicable excess amounts may vary depending on the make, model and group of the rented vehicle and the additional protection packages selected.

The damage excess refers to the maximum amount for which the renter may be held liable in the event of damage assessed under the insurance coverage. For damage that may occur during the rental period, the excess conditions specified in the relevant insurance policy and rental agreement apply.

To benefit from insurance coverage, the vehicle must be used in accordance with the rental agreement, traffic rules and the provisions of the policy. Insurance coverage may become invalid in cases of use by an unauthorized driver, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, intentional damage and other situations contrary to the agreement. In such cases, the resulting damage and expenses may be charged to the renter.

In the event of any accident, damage or theft, the renter must inform the rental company without delay and obtain the necessary official records, reports and documents. Failure to fulfill the notification and documentation obligations may affect the use of insurance coverage.

Before the rental, it is the renter's responsibility to review the insurance coverage, situations excluded from coverage and applicable excess amounts. Reduction of the excess amount through additional protection packages or the provision of additional protection for certain types of damage depends on the terms of the package offered.

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time it was received. If the vehicle is returned with a lower fuel level, a service fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the missing fuel.

If the vehicle is returned with a higher fuel level than when it was received, no refund or offset will be made for the excess fuel.

Mileage limits vary according to the rented vehicle group and rental period and are specified during the reservation stage.

If the specified mileage limit is exceeded, a vehicle-group-specific excess charge will be applied and collected from the renter for each additional kilometer used.

No refund will be made for unused mileage allowances, and these allowances cannot be transferred to another rental.

Reservation cancellation and refund transactions are evaluated according to the time remaining until the rental start date and the terms applicable to the reservation.

Any deductions that may apply to cancellation requests and the refund amounts are determined in accordance with the cancellation policy specified during the reservation.

If the vehicle is not collected, the reservation time is not observed or the vehicle is returned before the end of the rental period, the refund is subject to the provisions of the relevant agreement.

Approved refunds are processed through the method used to make the payment. The time required for the refund amount to be reflected in the account may vary depending on the bank's processing procedures.

To complete the rental and vehicle delivery process, the renter must have the documents listed below ready at the time of delivery:

• A valid driving licence
• A credit card registered in the renter's name and enabled for online transactions
• For Turkish citizens residing abroad and persons of foreign nationalities, a valid passport and a document or record showing entry information into Türkiye

Depending on the selected vehicle category and rental terms, it may be necessary to provide two separate credit cards.

If the documents are missing, the information cannot be verified, or the specified rental criteria are not met, the vehicle cannot be delivered. Therefore, for rentals that cannot be completed for this reason, the cancellation and refund terms accepted at the time of booking apply.
