Antalya Travel Guide and Car Rental
Antalya combines the scenery formed by the Mediterranean coast and the Taurus Mountains with a historic urban fabric. The city center, coastal areas and different districts offer distinct experiences within the same holiday. When planning a beach holiday, cultural trip or business journey, you can arrange transportation suited to your accommodation location.
Places to visit in Antalya
The narrow streets, historic houses and yacht harbor of Kaleiçi are a good starting point for exploring the city. You can combine your walk through the center with time spent on the Konyaaltı or Lara coast. If you are interested in history, you can include the area around Perge and Aspendos in a separate day’s itinerary. Rather than squeezing distant stops into the same day, dividing your visits by region makes for a more comfortable plan.
Coastal areas and day-trip routes
Belek and Side to the east of Antalya, and Kemer and farther-away Kaş to the west, offer different accommodation options. If you are staying in the city center, you can dedicate one day to Kaleiçi and the coast, and another day to the ancient cities. For longer coastal trips, plan your return time and rest breaks in advance. On winding coastal roads, drive without rushing and in accordance with the road and weather conditions.
Choosing a vehicle in Antalya
Consider compact vehicles for city trips with light luggage, and sedan, SUV or MPV options for families with children and travelers carrying more suitcases. For larger groups, check the number of seats, including the driver, together with the remaining luggage space when all seats are occupied. Specify your automatic transmission and child seat preferences during the reservation.
Pickup and return plan
You can select domestic and international terminal pickup options at Antalya Airport from the reservation screen. Share your flight number and arrival time; our team will provide the meeting point. For delivery requests in Alanya, Kaş, Kemer or at a hotel, provide the address and time in advance. Review availability, service fees, deposit and mileage conditions before making your reservation.
In busy areas such as Kaleiçi, you can leave your vehicle in a suitable car park and complete the final part of your visit on foot. On the return day, allow enough time for the vehicle inspection and getting to the terminal.
