Places to visit in and around Alanya

The area around Alanya Castle and the Red Tower forms a historic route. You can consider excursions around the center and harbor separately from your program for spending time on the coast. When traveling to the center from different accommodation areas such as Mahmutlar and Kestel, check the current road and parking situation.

Travel plan by car

There may be narrow and steep roads around the castle; leave your vehicle at a suitable point and allow time for walking. For longer day trips, plan your return time and rest breaks in advance.
