Istanbul Airport International Car Rental

Istanbul Airport International Car Rental and Delivery Information

Explore DefCar Rental vehicle delivery options for your international arrival at Istanbul Airport (IST). You can choose the vehicle that suits your trip based on the number of passengers, your luggage and your accommodation address.

Planning a trip in and around Istanbul

Istanbul Airport is the arrival point used for air travel to the European side of the city. Depending on your accommodation area, you can create separate itineraries for the Historic Peninsula, Galata, Karaköy and the Bosphorus shores. Set aside time for walking while visiting the historic buildings around Sultanahmet; check current visiting hours through official sources.

Route and transport tips

Traffic congestion in Istanbul may vary depending on the time of day. If you are planning to travel between the two sides, take bridges, tunnels and toll-road options into account. Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen are different airports; select the correct record in your reservation.
